Emergency childcare for key workers will be held at Warwick Bridge School starting from 30th March.

The deadline is fast approaching for new home to school transport applications for pupils starting school in September 2020 (Reception Year) and those transitioning to secondary school.

If your child will require school transport you need to apply before the deadline. YOU DO NOT NEED TO APPLY IF YOUR CHILD ALREADY USES SCHOOL TRANSPORT AND IS NOT MOVING SCHOOLS.

Applications can be made online by visiting the Cumbria County Council website using this link

Chinese New Year - Class 1

During the week commencing January 20th Class One looked at the traditional story of Chinese New Year and how each year got their name.

We made a range of different crafts, we each made a lantern and a fan. We created a whole Class Dragon for the display, which is in the school hall. We enjoyed tasting a range of different Chinese foods. We had Prawn Crackers, Spring Rolls, Noodles, Egg Fried Rice, Pork and Sweetcorn Dumplings and Pork and Celery Dumplings kindly made by Mrs Roddam.

The Class enjoyed tasting the different things. Our final activity was playing a game with chopsticks, we had to see if we could pick up cubes with the chopsticks and move them to the other table without using our hands.

Stay Safe on the Internet.
