As you may be aware the Government introduced a scheme, which entitles all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 to free school meals. The philosophy behind the scheme is to encourage healthy eating from a young age. For those parents who may be on a low income or in receipt of benefits should still apply for the Pupil Premium grant as this includes clothing grants and free milk, as well as the free schools. Your child’s eligibilty for free school meals will continue until the end of their primary school phase (Year 6).
For children in the Nursery Class and in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 the cost of school meals is £3.50 per day.
The school uses the ArborApp website to enable easier management of school meals for both parents and the school. Please contact the school office to obtain a login for this system.
