Wheelchair Basketball
On Monday 18th September 2023 world champion wheelchair basketball player Nat Pattinson came to school to talk to the pupils about his life and how he became involved with the sport.

On Monday 11th September Johnny from Action Ants came into school. In our classes we enjoyed fencing in the morning, we loved wearing the bib, helmet and using the foil (sword).
On Thursday 15th June, some children from Class 3 took part in the Athletics tournament at WHS. They competed in a range of field and track events.
All the children took part in Sports Day on the 6th June. We had a practice in the morning and parents came in the afternoon.
On Thursday 25th May Class One enjoyed a brilliant day at Dino Park at Hetland Hall. We split off into 4 groups and took part in a range of different activities.
Everyone enjoyed the Rota Kids latest fundraising event, a Easter ‘flower’ drive.
After a busy week sitting Sats, Year 6 enjoyed an afternoon at Hollywood Bowl on Friday 12th May.
On Thursday 4th May we celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III by holding a Non-Uniform Day.
On Thursday 16th March, 12 children from year 6 took part in the first stage of the annual Eden Rock Climbing competition. After success in that stage both the boys and girls team earned a place in the final.
