On Tuesday 1st November Julie Harrison came into school to show us how to make our own felt picture of Baa Baa Black Sheep.
First we started off by pulling small wispy piece of wool and had to layer it up to make it very thick. We then added our colours to make the background and finally the sheep. Once our picture was all layered up we got to the fun messy part, where we had to hold down our picture whilst warm soapy water was added, once it was all soaking wet we had to rub our hands onto a bar of soap and rub in small circles on our felt.
We then had to say incy wincy spider climbed down the water spout whilst squeezing the water and finally rolled our felt picture around an insulation tube wrapped in a tea towel and rolled over 100 times!!
Just look at our baaa-rilliant felt pictures!!
