Jarrow Hall Visit

On Friday 17th January the children from Class 3 went to Jarrow Hall, South Tyneside.
It was a fantastic visit and everyone dressed up as a Saxon villager. We sat around the open fire in a replica Saxon house and shared riddles and the story of Beowulf.

We looked around the Saxon village and Tom told us all about the animals that would have been kept at the time.

To finish the day we became warriors! The battle between the Celts and Saxons was ferocious!
