Recycling challenge

Children arrived in school on Thursday armed with their fantastic creations for the recycling challenge – Make something new out of something old.

The competition was judged by two of the governors.

Class 1 winner – Harper Cawson for her magazine holder, Class 1 runners up – Alfie Whitaker for his pet toy and Melody Waugh for her caterpillar train herb planter. Class 2 winner – Michael Jones for his bird scarer, Class 2 runners up – Merryn Patterson for her bird feeders and Jessie Coulthard for her wellie planters. Class 3 winner – Jacob Parish for his Grand Prix game. Class 3 runners -up – Lola Crouch for her peg bag and Seth Graham for his bug house. These talented children were awarded with some delicious Fairtrade chocolates and sweets generously donated by the Brampton and Fairtrade Co-op. Thanks to Peter Denyer, the Co-op Community Co-ordinator, for organising the prizes!
