On Thursday 26th May, Class One went to Carlisle Cathedral. We went into ‘Princess Belle’s Castle’. The celling was very very high.
We looked at all different features around the Cathedral such as the font, the organ, the choir stand, the alter table and the beautiful, huge stained glass windows. We all lay down on the floor to look up at the beautiful blue celling with gold stars. We then went into a different part of the cathedral and looked at pictures of the stain glass windows and coloured our own, we drew our own pictures moulding two different animals together and we built our own cathedral out of building blocks. We had such a lovely day!
