On Tuesday 26th April, Classes 2 and 3 went to visit Housesteads Roman Fort.
Children had to explore the fort then complete the quiz. We found out some interesting latrine facts!
There is also a small house outside the fort known as the murder house. The children were also trained to be in the Roman Army! The inclement weather gave us a taste of what it must have been like for the 800 soldiers posted at Housesteads.
