Class 2 Christmas Message

Class 1 Christmas Message

We would all like to thank Caron for making such a lovely Christmas Lunch for us. It was yummy! We would also like to say a big thank you to Eirian and Louise!

Look at how much fun we had at our Christmas Party in our Classroom! We all got dressed up in our party clothes, iced and decorated a bun, played party games, lots of dancing and finally got a message from Santa who had left us our Christmas presents!

We had lots of fun at our Christmas party in Class 2. The PTA kindly organised bingo, pass the parcel, buns to ice and a party bag for each child full of treats!  There was a video message from Santa and also a present for the children to take home

Class 3 had great fun at their Christmas ‘bubble’ party on Friday 11th Dec.

The PTA provided a party box and children iced buns, played games and had a Christmas quiz.

At 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month everyone in school observed the 2 minutes silence. Children made poppy wreaths to remember those who have lost their lives during conflict.

Look at how much fun Class One have had in the first half term back at school!

We have been playing in the Classroom, dressing up, playing on the bikes and trikes, making a range of different crafts, eating yummy dinners and not forgetting still doing lots of hard work!

We are this year’s Rota Kids. Over the next year we will be fundraising for our chosen charities – Blood Bikes and Hospice at Home.

We thank you for all your help and support and hope to raise lots of money to help our charities.

On Wednesday 7th October, children from years 4, 5 and 6 distributed harvest gifts in Irthington Village.

Despite covid restrictions, children still had a lovely time meeting and chatting to local residents.

On Monday 21st September, Nat came into school to teach us how to play Wheelchair Basketball. The whole school went out in small groups and had lots of fun!

Our first job was to get used to being in the wheelchairs, then we started playing basketball and aiming for the hoops.

Stay Safe on the Internet.
