The Rota Kids held their first fundraising event, a Halloween disco. There were lots of games played and prizes won. They raised £149 for their chosen charities, British Heart Foundation and Epilepsy Action. Everyone had a great time.

On Tuesday 1st November, nine children from Years 5 & 6 took part in a High 5 Netball tournament at William Howard School.  Not only did they have a fantastic morning, they also came second in their group.  Well done to all those that took part.

On Tuesday 1st November Julie Harrison came into school to show us how to make our own felt picture of Baa Baa Black Sheep.

We held our Harvest Festival in St Kentigern’s Church on Thursday 6th October. The following day, children from years 5 and 6 distributed the gifts throughout Irthington village.

“On Monday 12th September, Nat came into school to teach the whole school wheelchair basketball. We all enjoyed our day as you can see by the pictures.”

“Look at how much fun Class One have had in school over the last 4 weeks. We have been super busy getting to know our classroom and new friends in class. We have enjoyed painting, maths, crafts, dressing up, playing with trains and much much more! We can’t wait for the fun to continue!”
