On Tuesday 1st November, nine children from Years 5 & 6 took part in a High 5 Netball tournament at William Howard School.
Look at how much fun Class One have had in school over the last 4 weeks. We have been super busy getting to know our classroom and new friends in class.
We held our Harvest Festival in St Kentigern’s Church on Thursday 6th October. The following day, children from years 5 and 6 distributed the gifts throughout Irthington village.
On Monday 12th September, Nat came into school to teach the whole school wheelchair basketball. We all enjoyed our day as you can see by the pictures.
All the children took part in Sports Day on 15th June. Everyone took part in a sprint event, a novelty event, long distance run and relay. The sun shone and it was a great day.
On Tuesday 14th June some children from Class 3 went to WHS to take part in a Primary Sports Festival.
On Thursday 26th May, Class One went to Carlisle Cathedral. We went into ‘Princess Belle’s Castle’. The celling was very very high.
On Thursday 19th May, Class One visited Bitts Park. We were dropped off at the car park, we then walked into the park and took our first photo between the Bitts Park stone walls.
All the year 6 children had a fun afternoon at Hollywood Bowl. They enjoyed 3 games of bowling, fun on the arcade games and finished off with their choice of meal.
